Are you a man who likes to make things with his hands? Are you an amateur or professional carpenter, welder, engineer, or mechanic? Or do you want to learn from those who are? If so, join us on Tuesday nights as we take some time out of our busy schedules to grow in fellowship with each other, and hopefully make some cool stuff in the process. We could pool our resources and work on a large project, or work on smaller projects in groups or individually. Just a few projects ideas include radio controlled cars, boats, and airplanes, 3D plastic printers, robots, go carts, dune buggies, tree houses, and more. Whether its toys for the kids or toys for Dad, something fun or something practical, if you've ever wanted to build something instead of picking it up from Wal-mart (or build something you could never find at Wal-mart), this is the group for you.
If you're interested, request access to the workspace on the right, and leave a comment below. Let me know what you are interested in making, and any ideas you may have for the group. I'll compile the ideas (with a rough estimate of time and cost) and we'll decide on a project or projects in our first meeting on Tue., Jan. 3rd from 6-8 PM. We'll meet every Tuesday during Upward practice in the (location TBD), and if there is interest, may continue after Upward ends for some Father and Son/Daughter time.
